Power Of Khalsa

So a friend of mine sent these videos to me of Singhs at Hazur Sahib killing a goat and putting the blood of the goat on swords. What is the purpose of this? I have never heard or seen this type of thing before. Doesn't doing this go against Sikh beliefs? So could someone please explain this?
